The building
The Foundry Nagoa is a warehouse, left largely as it was, on a bylane in Nagoa. The benches and counters are cast in place, a planter runs the length of the room under a skylight, and the kitchen is open to the room. The DJ deck is wire mesh, hung on a pulley from the original roof truss, and it comes down on gig nights to become a table or a stage.
